We prefer a query via email before you send us your manuscript. You can query us at: info@bakersmark.com. Please learn more about our interests by clicking on the “Know Us” link.

Your query should be 1 page with no attachments and no chapters included in the body of the email. Queries sent with attachments will be deleted and unread.

Please send a query before submitting any material. We will request a full or partial manuscript be sent via mail if we are interested in seeing more (at least until Apple comes out with the tablet). Unsolicited manuscripts will not be considered. Please use Delivery Confirmation if you wish to confirm the receipt of your materials. Typically, we review all materials in 4-8 weeks from receipt.

Work without a proper SASE will not be returned. We prefer a SASE that is a US Priority Mail Flat Rate envelope, with regular postage (no electronic/dated postage). Please do not submit any original materials. Baker’s Mark is not responsible for replacing or repairing any materials that are misplaced or lost in transit.
